The Guide was born in 2004, out of a passionate goal to discover and celebrate the individuals who create the gastronomic treats we so enjoy. Our first cookbook, “Tablemanners: A Culinary Review of Hospitality in Antigua & Barbuda” was an ambitious collaborative project, and we were immensely proud that it won first prize in the Best Publisher category for Best Design at the 17th International Gourmand World Cookbook Awards held in Paris.

Antigua & Barbuda also hosted the 11th Caribbean Week of Agriculture and the Food & Drink team ventured out into the fields to chronicle some fascinating agricultural stories. From deer in Barbuda to Aquaponics farming and Scotch Bonnet Pepper seed production. We also invite a Lionfish to dinner and look at the revitalization of Antigua’s West Indian Sea Island Cotton industry. Have fun reading the guide.
